What does I-O do?
I-O Corporation provides Thin Clients to the SMB and Enterprise Markets, Perimeter and Endpoint Security Solutions, and host connectivity solutions for IBM Midrange and Mainframe systems. Our product designs include economically priced thin clients, managed security servers, endpoint security software, host print software, print servers, display stations and data stream conversion devices. With over 750,000 enterprise solutions installed in more than 30 countries, I-O Corporation's reputation for product reliability and customer support is recognized world-wide.
History
In business since 1977, I-O Corporation pioneered technological advances in the AS/400 midrange peripherals market, including introduction of the first AS/400 (System/3X) compatible display station with a host addressable printer port. Other firsts include introduction of internal and external connectivity solutions which enabled mass produced PC printers to emulate AS/400 and Mainframe system printers.
Products
I-O's current product line centers around thin client and security solutions for local area networks as well as connectivity solutions to AS/400 iSeries and Mainframe hosts. I-O's products protect a customer's IT investment by providing new generation connectivity solutions that bridge the ever changing gap between an installed IT infrastructure and new peripherals, new applications, or new technology.
