The Pro|Edge C5 Thin Client is based on Windows CE Operating System and driven by an AMD Geode^TM GX533 processor. The C5 is ideal when utilizing applications served up by Citrix Presentation Servers or Microsoft Terminal Services. The CE Operating System requires a minimal amount of RAM and Flash making it an economical, powerful solution.

About the size of a three CD set, ProEdge is unobtrusive and occupies a small amount of desktop space. It can even be attached to the back of a standard LCD monitor. Despite its small size, the C5 offers the scalability of increasing Flash.

I-O has partnered with Symantec^TM to offer Altiris^® Deployment Solution^TM. As a leading client management tool, Altiris provides console and web-based control, reporting, alerting, policy driven software delivery, patch management, and other Altiris lifecycle management solutions.

Secure
Because CE is a read-only operating system, applications cannot be installed on the C5. This important feature prevents users from introducing virus, malware and unwanted programs. As an added security feature, USB mass storage devices can be disabled. Preventing data theft and the introduction of dangerous data files.
