How can I tell if the Twinax portion of my 5794ip is working correctly? If the power LED is on steady, other than a brief flash off and on every five seconds (referred to as a "heartbeat"), and the twinax devices are powered on, the appropriate Line 1 or Line 2 LED will indicate the following. If the Line 1 or Line 2 LED is ON with a heartbeat, at least one Twinax device on the appropriate line is responding to polls. If the Line 1 or Line 2 LED is OFF with a heartbeat there are no Twinax devices on the appropriate line responding to polls. If the Line 1 and Line 2 LED's are out, with no heartbeat, the Twinax communication processor in the 5794ip controller is no longer functioning. |
