| Datacapture Instructions.
1. Make sure no one else will be using the printer. 2. End the writer on the 400. 3. Start the I-O Configuration Utility (CU) 4. Highlight the PrintServer (PS) 5. Select Options 6. Select Datacapture (leave the selection as Buffer) 7. Select Browse 8. On the right side of the screen select a target destination where a file will be created. 9. On the left side of the screen give the file a descriptive name, (your name), leaving the extension as .dmp. 10. Select OK. 11. Select Start. 12. On the 400 start the writer. 13. From the 400 send the job. 14. The byte counter in the CU should now increment. 15. Give the datacapture enough time to cover the actual printing of the job, if the job were to print. 16. Select stop. 17. Email the file to: support@iocorp.com |
