| To reset the Print Server (PS) to Factory Defaults, do the following:
1. Power on the printer. 2. Power on the PS. 3. On the PS, press and hold the mode button. 4. When the button is held down the LED next to the mode button will turn on. 5. Continue to hold the mode button down until the Power LED goes out. This is 20 to 30 seconds. 6. After releasing the button, allow the PS to cycle through its power up sequence until the Power LED comes on solid. 7. Start the Print Control Utility (PCU) or Configuration Utility (CU) and open the configuration by double clicking on the device. 8. Setup the PS again as if it were new, right out of the box. It?s important to note the version of PCU or CU being used to setup the box should be numerically equal to or greater than the numeric version of the firmware in the PS. PCU, CU and the current version of firmware can be downloaded from our web site accessible from the following URL. http://www.iocorp.com/support/support2.htm Select FTP and from here you should be able to find the correct files. The PCU file name will be: PCUxyz.exe where xyz is the latest version number. The current CU file name will be: iocuxyz.exe or iocuxyz.zip where xyz is the latest version number. The Firmware file name will follow the format shown: F54aaxyz.exe Where aa is the last two digits of the PS you are upgrading (30, 35 or 50 being the most common) with xyz again being the latest version number. |
