| The 122-key TC5000 keyboard, I-O part number 58.058, is physically and dimensionally the same as the 2677M 122-key keyboard, I-O part number 58.003. These two keyboards will use the same keyboard protector. However realize these two keyboards are not functionally interchangable.
The TC5000 keyboard uses scan set 2 for windows applications and has been optimized to incorporate IBM's 5250 functionality as well. The TC2677/ 2677M keyboards incorporate scan set 3, an enhancement of scan set 2. |
