Article #282 - How do I turn QAUTOCFG on?
Updated:02-17-2006 - Views: 292
The AS/400 system value, QAUTOCFG, is either on or off.

Display the current setting by entering the following command on an AS/400 command line:
dspsysval qautocfg (press enter).

To change this value you must first have proper authority on the AS/400. Once the user ID being used has proper authority qautocfg is changed as follows:

On an AS/400 command line type:
chgsysval qautocfg
and then press F4, do not press enter.

On the New Value line the acceptable values are:
'1' (with the apostrophes) to turn autoconfig on.
'0' (with the apostrophes) to turn autoconfig off.

Press enter after typing the desired value.
