Article #335 - Why does my Thin Client not allow full access to some web sites?
Updated:02-17-2006 - Views: 257
I-O's Thin Clients use a Windows CE.net, 4.2 Operating System, and as designed by Microsoft, the full Internet Explorer browser is not supported. ActiveX and Java Scripting has limited support at best. Sites using ActiveX and Java Scripting very likely will not display properly, or may not allow access at all.

Employing a Citrix or Microsoft Terminal Server solution will allow full browser support.
