The proper settings for the I-O 5430e when used with Printek dot-matrix printers to resolves an issue of the Printek printer defaulting to 17.1 cpi rather than printing in 10 cpi is as follows: - Set the Vertical Margin to 1 in the AS/400 Printing | 3812 Advanced | Laser Printing section. - Select the host print emulation as 4214 with the driver as Epson DFX 8500/5000+. - Set the Printek printer to Epson DFX emulation. - Set the Printek printer to default to 10 cpi. |
