LJ M3035mfp, M4345mfp, M5035mfp, and P3005 IPDS performance may still be very poor, even after using the above Telnet setup procedure. This is caused by the Internal JetDirect for these printers (external JetDirect cards do not have the problem). The JDI performance issue will be corrected by new HP JDI firmware later this year. In the interim, please contact Capella Support to obtain instructions for installing "V.33.55.455" firmware for the LJ P3005 or "V.34.08.449" firmware for the LJ M3035mfp, M4345mfp, and M5035mfp printers. The special JDI firmware versions resolve any remaining IPDS back-channel performance issues. |
