If you experience issues with the ProEdge C8 or X8 Thin Client not working due to power bumps, drops, or brown outs, restoring defaults will resolve this issue.

Also, if changing the BIOS settings or video resolution results in the unit not booting or no screen appears, restoring defaults will resolve this issue as well.

Restoring defaults is accomplished by removing the battery on the motherboard. After 3
minutes, reinstall
the battery and the default settings will have been restored.
