| Can I print LAN jobs to my ASCII printer connected to the parallel port of a Twinax terminal being driven by the I-O 5794IP?
No. LAN jobs directed to the printer attached to a Twinax terminal would not be formatted correctly. The Twinax terminal is expecting EBCDIC data to convert the data stream into ASCII as required by the ASCII printer. Windows will not source EBCDIC data. |
