| I powered off my TC2677 for a short time, and now when I try connecting to the AS/400 I have no sign on screen. What happened?
The user powered off the TC2677 but did not end the Telnet session on the AS/400 and as a result, the 400 believes the session is still active. In order to get a sign on screen the AS/400 system administrater must run the AS/400 NETSTAT command and end the Telnet session for the specific IP address of the TC2677. In order to avoid this problem the next time the TC2677 will be powered off, complete the following three steps. 1. Sign off the AS/400 as normal. 2. Press Alt Alt L to tell the TC2677 to end the AS/400 Telnet session. 3. Power off the TC2677 as desired. |
